THE BEGINNING OF CREATION

In 1989 George Manolesakis has started to cultivate in his own vineyards, the better-known and Greek varieties, such as: Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Ugni Blanc, Muscat Alexandrie and Agiorgitiko.

His course over time has strengthened his love and his longing for the Wine and has enriched his knowledge on subjects of cultivation and care of the vineyards.

His continuous search, which aims at the best possible tasty results, leads him to the experimental cultivation of Greek and foreign varieties, some of them cultivated for the first time in the wider area of Adriani.

In 1998, he established the company "G. Manolesakis & Co." of production and bottling of Wine with the distinctive title "Regional Wine Manolesaki".
 

The privately-owned Wine factory of the company is equipped with machinery of the  
 latest technology, which has as aim and target the proper and gentle treatment of the grapes.
 
 The Wine-making is achieved under the supervision of the specialist in Wine-making, Mrs. Aggeliki Apostolakis, with the care and the knowledge of the peculiarities of every variety and according to the type of the Wine we want to create.
 
The vineyards are located in the wider area of Adriani near to the Wine factory of the company, which means Reduced grape's transportation time, and this is a fact that plays its own important part in the creation and in the quality of the Wine.

The Estates of George Manolesakis are located on gentle slopes, where they are protected from the strong wind, the great and sudden changes in the temperature and the excess moisture.

In our linear vineyard of 25 hectares the viticulture grows with the personal care of George and his son Stavros Manolesakis, so that the grapes are picked only when they reach the best possible natural richness.
 
The low yield per vine guaranties the quality and if we add the strict selection of the grapes, which takes place during the grape harvest, we can say unreservedly that the grapes, which come to the Wine factory within a short time, are in perfect condition. The Wine-making is achieved with the traditional way, exploiting at the same time all the modern methods so that you can enjoy the wine in your glass.
 
In our underground cellars we host the french oak barels of 225L which they replaced every 3 years for the noble maturation of red and fumé wines.
